Financing for Young Entrepreneurs

Terms

• Personal loan of $25,000 per entrepreneur
• No interest for the first 24 months
• Maximum of 2 loans per business
• Possibility of a capital moratorium
• Maximum amortization of 7 years
• Minimum equity contribution of 10% for succession and 20% for a startup

Eligibility

• The business must be located in Beauce.
• The entrepreneur must be between 18 and 39 years old.
• The entrepreneur must work full-time in their business (minimum 30 hours per week).
• The entrepreneur must hold a majority decision-making power in the company.
• Funding from CAE through the regular fund, equal to or greater than the youth strategy funding, must be part of the financial structure.
• The business must not pose a risk to competitors in the territory.
• The company must have 200 employees or fewer.
• Cannot be used to refinance debt.
